Sustainable Carbon's newest member,
Cassandra Nattrass, joined the Commercial Team last month as a new Carbon Advisor responsible for liaison and carbon offset transactions with clients.
Although, originally from San Francisco, California, Cassandra has lived quite the global experience. Leaving the United States early on in her professional career, Cassandra ventured off to explore studies and the international business environment in countries such as Germany, Chile and Brazil. Now with a Global Studies Degree under her belt, and extensive marketing and project management experience in both the private and non-for-profit sectors, Cassandra says she is ready to tap into the growth opportunities that are increasingly developing in Latin America.
“Brazil currently has the largest economy in Latin America, and as it will likely grow even more in the next few years, I would like to be a part of the development and help make it more sustainable”, says Cassandra.
During her past employment, this “gringa baiana”, as her Brazilian colleagues like to call her, had the opportunity to work with recognized companies like Novartis in Santiago, Chile where she created and implemented the company's Green Team. Most recently she worked with the Brazil Foundation, a non-for-profit organization in Rio de Janeiro, in executing social projects all over Brazil such as, educating young adults on the effects of environmental degradation of surrounding regions.
Her passion for global development and sustainability, along with her multilingual capabilities which include being fluent in English, Spanish, German and Portuguese, are sure to be a welcoming asset to Sustainable Carbon`s multinational team of carbon advisors.
Welcome to the Team Cassandra!
